The Jewish wedding ceremony is personalized for each bride and groom based on several meetings with Rabbi Jason before the “Big Day”. Rabbi Jason has officiated at over 60 weddings since being ordained in 2004 at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York City (Conservative)
Rabbi Jason is an ordained Conservative rabbi. He lives in Detroit, Michigan with his family. He is a popular speaker and writer who has appeared on several television programs including “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer” on CNN and “Let It Rip” on Fox News.
Rabbi Jason was one of the winners of a Jewish Influencer award from the National Jewish Outreach Program and he is on the professional board of advisors for the Jewish Outreach Institute. Rabbi Jason has worked on college campuses with Hillel and has gained a reputation with young people.
Rabbi Jason is the founder and director of Kosher Michigan – a kosher certification agency. He serves on the boards of several national and local organizations including the Jewish Outreach Institute, Michigan Jewish Sports Foundation, JARC, Friends of the Taubman Institute, Jewish Gay Network, Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit Family Circle, and Kadima. He is an alumnus of the Rabbis Without Borders fellowship through Clal (The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership) and the STAR Foundation’s Professional Education for Excellence in Rabbis fellowship. In October 2013 Rabbi Jason participated in The Conversation, an annual retreat of Jewish leaders convened by Gary Rosenblatt, the editor of The Jewish Week.
